I Like Beer the Podcast

The ILB Team welcomes back fellow Beer Podcaster and Author Cody Thompson to celebrate the release of his newest mystery novel just in time for Halloween, Bone Saw Serenade, allowing teacher by day Influencer Jeff to "geek out about Cody's writing".  Cody also brings a beer from the oldest brewery in the world, Brauerei Weihenstephan.  What a nice guy!

ILB hosts Jeff and Jeff join forces with Odd Pairings Podcast's hosts Paige and Natasha.  They share beverages and favorite segments from each podcast.  So that means Toast, Roast and Power and Beer or Not a Beer!

In this episode, the ILB team hosts Keith Badner who shares about a beer club that he's been curating on the first Friday of every month for the last 10 years. And, our local celebrity, Travis, from Brewer's Taproom stops on by to pitch his establishment as the next location for Keith and his following. Ever the polite guest, Travis treats us to a great new Double IPA from Burgeon which, we're told, is like drinking Carlsbad Crush on steroids.

After a long, hot summer of field trips, beer fests, vacations and more (rough life), the ILB Team finally had the full band all back together again in the comforts of Studio Awesome with beers from local breweries Dos Desperadoes and Karl Strauss.

The ILB team takes a look at Columbus Day and how a man lost gets his own holiday.  Taking it a step further Talent provides "education" on epic failures that turn into the Ultimate Spin of success, all while enjoying a "breakfast beer" from Belching Beaver and gift beers from Two 4 Brew and Fire Fighter Joe.

Two4Brew's Brad and Tamara sold their home and are traveling the US on the ultimate brewery tour.  As they make their way through the San Diego beer scene, we get the chance to hear their story and ask them about where they have been and how far they will go.

The ILB Team takes a field trip to meet with Chris Banker, a man of many hidden talents, including Director of Brewing at Barrel and Stave at the new Colab Public House in Vista, CA. 

It's the most wonderful time of the beer year.  Oktoberfest is upon us and the ILB Team meets up with MacKenzie Klein, Marketing Director from Burgeon Beer Company and Nate Stevens, Head Brewer from Eppig Brewing to talk about their big plans for the annual Oktoberfest celebration.

With the summer heat still going strong, grab a beer and cool off with the ILB as they take another trip down the "How Cool Was..." memory lane with another Hollywood legend who's career has spanned six decades, including several different iconic movie franchises.

The ILB Team drops back in on one of our favorite locations, the beautiful Viewpoint Brewing in Del Mar, CA., where the boys meet up with Head brewer Moe Katomski to see what's new, including several truly wonderful beers.
